Beatrice Fassler founded Belegra with a vision to create a South African luxury house built on thoughtful structure and enduring design. Drawing on her background in graphic and packaging design, she approaches leather goods with an architectural eye, believing that proportion, balance and purpose are what give an object lasting beauty. Every Belegra collection begins with her creative direction, where ideas are refined until they become pieces designed not only to be carried, but to be treasured.
NASHEETAH ENGELBRECHT
SHAREHOLDER & HEAD OF PRODUCTION
As shareholder and Head of Production, Nasheetah Engelbrecht is the technical heart of the House of Belegra. Her exceptional craftsmanship, deep technical knowledge and commitment to continuous learning ensure that every design is realised with precision and care. Together with Beatrice, the duo shape the creative vision, Nasheetah oversees the workshop and the daily rhythm of production, maintaining the standards that define every Belegra piece. Though their personalities and approaches couldn't be more different, it is precisely that balance that has become one of the House's greatest strengths.

Belegra was intentionally created to become something greater than a personal name, one with the freedom to grow into a lasting luxury house with its own identity and legacy. Inspired by its founder's European heritage yet unmistakably South African in its spirit, the name reflects the duality at the heart of the brand: timeless elegance shaped by local craftsmanship.
